Smith expressed that he has fought in Brasil two time before, and has always wanted to win in Brasil because he has been influenced by Brazilian culture due to being a Jiu-Jitsu black belt. He said he’s always wanted to win in the land of BJJ, and now to have won via Jiu-Jitsu submission, he has officially checked off a bucket list point from his life list.
