Sevgi Doğan is a Turkish Muay Thai fighter known as the “Ice Queen” that is making her mark at RWS Muay Thai. She’s risen through the ranks at RWS Muay Thai and is arguably one of the best, if not the best, female international Muay Thai fighter at RWS. This weekend on December 23rd, she faces off against Somratsamee for the vacant Rajdamnern Stadium Female Bantamweight title.
Sevgi Doğan the Muay Thai Ice Queen
Sevgi Doğan is a force to be reckoned with and she’s only twenty years old. Doğan is a seven-time Turkish Muay Thai National Champion and is a 3 time IFMA Muay Thai Gold Medalist. She’s currently ranked #3 at RWS Muay Thai and has the opportunity to claim the first ever Rajadamnern Stadium Female Bantamweight title and make history.
Ngaoprajan vs. Sevgi RWS Fight Cancellation
Sevgi Doğan was previously set to face Ngaoprajan, ranked #2, back in November for the Bantamweight Title bout, but Ngaoprajan missed weight twice. It was a dramatic cancellation as this was the first ever women led card for RWS and it was for a Championship title.
But Sevgi did not let that take away from her focus on getting the opportunity to win a title at Rajadamnern Stadium. Shortly after the fight was cancelled, RWS Muay Thai rescheduled her fight with the #1 ranked Bantamweight female fighter, Somratsamee.
