Another ONE Fight Night down and we’re back to provide the ONE Fight Night 16 Top Moments chosen by our staff. ONE’s fight nights are always quite the production and this card held true as there were knockouts, submissions, and upsets. Two World Championship Titles, for Kickboxing and Submission Grappling, were featured on the card as well as many other impressive bouts. Let’s dig in.

1. Jonathan Haggerty becomes Two Sport World Champion and Defeats Fabricio Andrade

Jonathan Haggerty came out banging in his World Championship kickboxing match against Fabricio Andrade. In round 1, he showed his dominance by controlling the momentum and getting a number of hard hits. In round 2, he landed a gnarly kick that Fabricio claims is what set him off and a flurry of punches after that ultimately led to Andrade’s knockdown and defeat. Jonathan Haggerty claimed the Kickboxing World Championship belt and is now calling Fabricio out for his MMA belt. Fabricio knockout highlight here.

2. Ayaka “Zombie” Miura Submits Meng Bo via Signature Scarf-Hold Americana

Ayaka Miura secured another impressive win against Meng Bo via the Scarf-hold American submission. Miura has now secured 7 wins via this submission and plans to continue making her name through this unique submission. With a strong Judo background, Miura utilized her Judo and Jiu Jitsu knowledge to outsmart Meng and secure the win. Now Ayaka seems to be in the running to rematch Xiong Jing Nan for the MMA Title. 3. Seksan Or. Kwanmuang Gets 200th Muay Thai Win

Seksan Or. Kwanmuang made is big ONE Fight Night debut and secured his 200th win at ONE Fight Night 16. Seksan was already on a 6-0 fight win at ONE through his impressive Friday Fights bouts and now he made a name for himself on the big card, taking down Karim Bennoui on his debut at ONE. Seksan threw haymakers and dominated in the Thai Clinch – we’re excited to see more of him in the future! Seksan fight highlight here.

4. Cristina Morales upsets Supergirl in Kickboxing Bout

While Supergirl was highly favored in this Kickboxing bout despite Cristina Morales impressive Kickboxing record, Morales did not let that faze her. She came out ready to fight and started wailing on Supergirl, ending the fight in just 2:54 seconds in the first round. 5. Ben “Vanilla Thunder” Tynan Submits Kang Ji Won via Triangle Arm Choke

Ben Tynan made his debut at ONE as a Heavyweight MMA fighter. He dominated Kang Ji Won during the first three rounds and ultimately landed a Head and Arm Choke to submit Kang Ji Won in the third round. Tynan’s wrestling and Jiu Jitsu skills were on display for most of the fight as he smothered Kang Ji Won and wore him out until he was able to submit his opponent.
