Yodwicha faced off in a Muay Thai bout in Bangkok, Thailand at Rajadamnern Stadium on a stacked RWS fight night. He fought against Izaya Matsushima on December 9, 2023 and came out victorious after a hard fought battle.
Yodwicha Secures Win at RWS
Yodwicha was coming off of two tough losses at RWS but is still ranked #2 in the Super-Welterweight weight class division. Despite his tough losses to Thananchai and Shadow, he is still one of the toughest fighters at RWS. To close out the year, he faced off against Izaya Matsushima for the headlining bout on the RWS card on December 9, 2023. Yodwicha came out victorious after a delivering a series of punches and gnarly elbow to knockout his opponent in round 2.
Should Yodwicha face Daniel Rodriguez again?
Daniel Rodriguez, the current belt holder for the Super-Welterweight division, is set to face off against the top contender in the weight division in 2024. The big debate is whether Yodwicha has risen through the ranks to face off against Daniel Rodriguez again, who he’s previously lost a fight against.
Superlek at RWS and ONE Championship
While Yodwicha dominated his fight, he also had a strong corner offering him guidance this whole time – including the Muay Thai superstar, Superlek. Not only was Superlek in Yodiwicha’s corner that evening, but Superlek was also at the ONE Championship ONE Fight Night 17 fight that morning – a full day for him!
